My Yoga Journey

My yoga journey began in India, where the practice was woven into everyday life. From an early age I was drawn to its mental and spiritual dimensions, the steadiness it offered the mind as much as the body.

When I relocated to Malaysia, yoga became a grounding anchor in an unfamiliar place. In 2017, I completed my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training certification and began teaching across a wide range of settings – corporate events, conferences, private group classes, and community sessions, working with diverse ages and backgrounds. Connection has always been at the heart of my teaching.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I offered online yoga sessions to support my community’s mental wellbeing, extending this more to elderly who benefited from gentle, accessible practice. These experiences deepened my commitment to yoga as a tool for mental health, stress relief, and emotional resilience.

Since moving to Melbourne in 2022, I have continued to share my yoga practice, offering Hatha yoga and Pranayama classes across Melbourne in community, small group and private settings, with a particular interest in beginner-friendly, mindful, and restorative practice for new mums easing back into movement.

I teach yoga because it has carried me through every transition in my life. I am here to offer that same steadiness to you.
